Head of Data Science for Innovation, AI Research at Amadeus

At the heart of the Amadeus Innovation community, Baptiste Chatrain’s role is to turn ideas into value.

Mr Chatrain recently led the technical implementation of a new airline operation system in a joint partnership with Qantas to deliver AI and high impact innovations in a mission critical production environment, taking on all the innovation journey challenges from early prototyping to a production service with 24/7 support.

Now back in the lab, he is leading a team of data scientists within the Artificial Intelligence Research team since September 2017.

Mr Chatrain holds a Master of Science, Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, US and an Engineering Degree from the French École nationale supérieure d'électrotechnique, d'électronique, d'informatique, d'hydraulique et des télécommunications (ENSEEIHT) in Toulouse, France.
